Portrait of my friend Rosy. This was done for a tweaked version of the 'Rosy After Mucha' painting in which I have dropped a lot of the visual elements from the actual image; it will now incorporate her portrait in an Art Nouveau style border (again similar to Mucha's style).
I will show the finished piece (i.e the portrait and border, painted on canvas) at a later date. This particular piece was done in pencils on paper and took a couple of hours to complete; I had to get it right. Copyright Mike Fores 2007. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
